Processing Items
The following procedures allow you to process items using the Staff
Workstation. The procedures vary according to your Staff Workstation's
configuration. Refer to the appropriate procedure for your configuration:

Local and Remote configurations
Standard Configuration
Use the following procedure to process items using the Staff Workstation -
Standard configuration.

Select the Operation, either check-in
(

) or checkout (

Select the Number of Items to Process
(if enabled).
If the library Administrator has
configured the workstation to
display Number of Items buttons,
select the number of items to
process.
If no Number of Items buttons
appear, the default setting (one
item at a time) is in effect and you
cannot select the number of items
to process.

Follow the Instructions.
Instructions appear in the Message
area. In this example, “Present
Items.”
