SST Ticket Spitter . SST Magnetic Stripe unit that issues a ticket to patrons when a vehicle crosses a
detector loop.
SST Ticket Validator . Hardware system that encodes, reads, prints, and processes magnetic stripe tickets
or access cards.
Stack A . Left-most Ticket Stack in the SST Ticket Spitter.
Stack B . Right-most Ticket Stack in the SST Ticket Spitter.
Stepper Motor . An electric motor that is controlled by a separate module on the SST CPU Board. The
stepper motor controls the tickets in the SST/HP-4 Transport.
Switch Bank . Component on CPU Boards for housing DIP Switches.
Ticket Channel . The part on the inside of the SST/HP-1 and HP-4 Transport that the ticket travels
through.
Ticket Spitter . Unit that issues a ticket to patrons when a vehicle crosses a detector loop.
Validated Ticket . Parking Ticket that has been processed by a cashier and which indicates on the magnetic
stripe that the patron has paid the parking fee and is exiting the facility within a specific grace period.
Validator . Hardware system that encodes, reads, prints, and processes magnetic stripe tickets or access
cards.
