Replacing the optics bracket
1.
Follow step 1 through 9 of
Disassembly
.
2.
Disconnect
J1
and
J4
from the bottom board.
3.
Unlock (
1
) and disconnect (
2
) the ribbon cable from the front board.
4.
Put the scanner onto its side and remove the 6 screws using a 2.5mm hex key and remove the
bottom cover.
