To empty powder bins
When you empty the Virgin bin or Blender bin
,
powder exits the
POWDER OUTLET
at the right
rear of the IRS.
When you empty the Used bin
powder exits the
AUXILIARY OUTLET
at the left rear of the IRS.
Before you empty the Used bin, uncap the outlet
and attach a spare powder line to it.

For Virgin bin or Blender bin:
Disconnect
the powder supply line from the (first) SLS
system’s
POWDER INLET
.
For Used bin:
Remove the cap from the IRS
AUXILIARY OUTLET
and connect a spare
powder supply line to it.

Place the open end of the powder line from
the [
POWDER
or
AUXILIARY
]
OUTLET
in a
large covered container.
Empty Used Bin
Sends powder from the Used
bin to the
AUXILIARY OUTLET
until the IRS is turned off.
Manual LS
Transfer
Sends one transporter load of
powder to the SLS system.
Blender to Virgin
Sends powder from the
Blender bin to the Virgin bin
until the IRS is turned off.

This option is for
3D CSE use only
. Do
not attempt to use it.
Improper manual
transfer can clog
powder line.
Before you move the IRS or change
materials, empty all IRS powder bins.
