Verify that all cables are firmly inserted into both the system’s affected
port and the attached device.

Test for faulty cables.

Clean the fiber optic ports and connectors. See next section.
When the problem is corrected, the
LED lights green.
If the LED still does not light, contact your network supplier or 3Com
Technical Support.
