Wizard Settings
The following table shows the settings that you can configure in both the
Web interface and Command Line Interface Getting Started wizards.

Setting Meaning Default Example
Name A name that uniquely identifies the Webcache
in your network. Can be up to 255 characters

Location A description that identifies the location of
the Webcache in your network. Can be up to
255 characters long. (none) Main server room
Contact The name of the person who is responsible for
the Webcache. Can be up to 255 characters

IP Address A unique IP address for the Webcache. 192.168.1.253 192.168.1.253
Subnet Mask A suitable Subnet Mask for the Webcache. (none) 255.255.255.0
Default Router The IP address of the default IP router

Host Name The Host Name is combined with the DNS
Domain Name to give the internet name of
the Webcache. The host name is the name of
the Webcache within the local domain. (none) webcache

(DNS) Domain Name The DNS Domain Name is combined with the
Host Name to give the internet name of the
Webcache. The Domain Name is a grouping
