The setting of the real-time accounting interval depends, to some degree, on the performance of
the switch and the RADIUS server. The higher the performance of the switch and the RADIUS
server is, the shorter the interval can be. It is recommended to set the interval as long as possible
when the number of users is relatively great (
≥ 1000). Table 1-6 lists the recommended intervals for
different numbers of users.

: Response timeout time of RADIUS servers, ranging from 1 to 10 seconds.
Description
Use the
timer response-timeout
command to set the response timeout time of RADIUS servers.
Use the
undo timer response-timeout
command to restore the default response timeout time of
RADIUS servers.
By default, the response timeout time of RADIUS servers is 3 seconds.
Note that:
