network. If you have not determined whether your network is static, refer to
the
Getting Started Guide.
Installing the ISDN
LAN Modem
If you have not already installed the ISDN LAN modem, refer to the diagram
while following the steps.
Before you begin, power down the computer you will connect to your ISDN
LAN modem.
1
Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into a 10BASE-T LAN port and then
connect the opposite end of the Ethernet cable to your computer’s Ethernet
port.
Caution:
Only connect one computer to the ISDN LAN modem until after
you have finished the configuration process. After configuration, you can
connect any additional computers and/or printers which you would like to
add to your LAN. Also, do not connect the ISDN LAN modem to an existing
LAN.
2
Connect the RJ-45 (8-pin) connector end of the RJ-45/RJ-11cable labeled
ISDN to the port labeled ISDN and then connect the other end to the RJ-11
ISDN wall jack.
3
If you are connecting analog equipment, connect one end of an RJ-11 cable
(provided with your analog device) into one of the RJ-11 modular jacks
