Configuring the Management CPU 117
The Shelf Configuration menu displays the following information about the shelf:
n
Hardware revision
n
Serial number
n
Left power supply status (in service or out of service)
n
Right power supply status (in service or out of service)
To set the status of a power supply, follow these steps from the Shelf
Configuration menu:
1 Enter the appropriate option number ( [1] for the left power supply or [2] for the
right power supply).
2 Respond to the prompt that appears at the bottom of the screen by entering [1] to
take the power supply Out of Service or [2] to put the power supply In Service .
Configuring the
Management CPU
When the PathBuilder S600 is configured with an STX module, you can view the
current configuration for the CPU module and configure virtual interfaces and
shapers. The PathBuilder S600 with STX runs only with software Release 2.x.x or
higher.
The MCPU Configuration menu, shown in Figure 82, provides access to the
submenus and screens from which you view configuration information, set and
manage virtual interfaces, and configure shapers.
To display the MCPU Configuration menu:
From the List Card menu, select [1] MCPU .
