4.2 Editing TCP/IP Options (with Ethernet Encapsulation)
Move the cursor to the Edit IP field in Menu 11.1 , then press the [SPACE BAR] to toggle and set the
value to Yes . Press [Enter] to open Menu 11.3 - Network Layer Options .

IP Address
Assignment If your ISP did not assign you an explicit IP address, select
Dynamic; otherwise select Static and enter the IP address & subnet
mask in the following fields.
Dynamic
IP Address If you have a Static IP Assignment, enter the IP address assigned
to you by your ISP.
IP Subnet
Mask If you have a Static IP Assignment, enter the subnet mask
assigned to you.
Gateway IP
Addr If you have a Static IP Assignment, enter the gateway IP address
assigned to you.
Network
Address
Translation Use the [SPACE BAR] to toggle between Full Feature, None, SUA

SUA Only
Metric This field is valid only for PPTP/ PPPoE encapsulation. The metric
represents the “cost” of transmission for routing purposes. IP routing
uses hop count as the measurement of cost, with a minimum of 1 for
directly connected networks. Enter a number that approximates the
cost for this link. The number need not be precise, but it must be
