Getting to Know Your Bridge/Router

1.2.4 Prestige 153X Back Panel

Figure 1-3 helps you identify the rear panel ports of your Prestige 153X. Refer to this diagram
when attempting to make connections.

POWER = 16V-AC power outlet to connect the AC adapter.

LAN = RJ-45 socket to connect the ETHERNET 10Base-T cable.

CONSOLE = RJ-45 connector to plug the RJ45-RS232 female adapter and connect to the Console or SMT.

WAN-1 = SCSI socket to connect the SCSI-RS449, SCSI-V.35 or SCSI-RS232 male adapter and plug a modem

or ISDN TA to WAN port 1.

WAN-2 = SCSI socket to connect the SCSI-RS449, SCSI-V.35 or SCSI-RS232 male adapter and plug a modem

or ISDN TA to WAN port 2.

WAN-3 = RJ-45 socket to connect the RJ45-RS232 male adapter and plug a modem or ISDN TA to WAN port 3.
