LAN Connection
Client List Configuration
We can manually assign a particular IP to a DHCP client with the specific MAC
address.
a.
Enable the DHCP server.
1.
Go to
Network Settings > Home Networking > LAN Setup.
2.
Enter the
IP Address
, e.g. “192.168.100.1”.
3.
Enter the
IP Subnet Mask
, e.g. “255.255.255.0”.
4.
Check the
Enable
box of DHCP Server State.
5.
Enter the
Beginning IP Address
, e.g. “192.168.100.33”.
6.
Enter the
Ending IP Address
, e.g. “192.168.100.254”.
b.
Show information on the DHCP server.
1.
Login the device by Telnet.
2.
Type the command “lan config” to enter configuration mode.
3.
Type the command “dhcpserver show”
