Access Control
27.1 Overview
A console port and FTP are allowed one session each, Telnet and SSH share nine sessions, up
to five Web sessions (five different usernames and passwords) and/or limitless SNMP access
control sessions are allowed.
A console port access control session and Telnet access control session cannot coexist when
multi-login is disabled. See the CLI Reference Guide for more information on disabling multi-
login.
27.1.1 What You Can Do in the Access Control Screens
• The Access Control screen lets you view and navigate to your access control options
( Section 27.2 on page 200 ).
• The SNMP screen lets you configure SNMP settings and traps ( Section 27.3 on page 200 ).
• The Trap Group screen lets you specify the types of SNMP traps that should be sent to
each SNMP manager ( Section 27.3.5 on page 207 ).
• The Logins screen lets you set up login accounts ( Section 27.3.6 on page 207 ).
• The Service Port Access Control screen lets you decide what services you may use to
access the ONU ( Section 27.9 on page 214 ).
• The Remote Management screen lets you specify a group of one or more “trusted
computers” from which an administrator may use a service to manage the ONU ( Section
27.10 on page 215 ).
