The following table describes the labels in this screen.
8.7 The WPS SetUp Screen
Use this screen to configure WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) on your LTE2566-M634.
WPS allows you to quickly set up a wireless network with strong security, without having to configure
security settings manually. Set up each WPS connection between two devices. Both devices must
support WPS.

DESCRIPTION
Wireless Advanced Setup - 2.4G / Wireless Advanced Setup - 5G
RTS/CTS Threshold
Data with its frame size larger than this value will perform the RTS (Request To Send)/ CTS
(Clear To Send) handshake.
This field is not configurable and the LTE2566-M634 automatically changes to use the
maximum value if you select
802.11a
,
802.11b
,
802.11a/n Mixed, 802.11b/g Mixed, 802.11b/
g/n Mixed
, or
802.11a/n/ac Mixed
in the
Wireless LAN > General
screen.
Fragmentation
Threshold
The threshold (number of bytes) for the fragmentation boundary for directed messages. It is
the maximum data fragment size that can be sent.
This field is not configurable and the LTE2566-M634 automatically changes to use the
maximum value if you select
802.11a
,
802.11b
,
802.11a/n Mixed, 802.11b/g Mixed, 802.11b/
g/n Mixed
, or
802.11a/n/ac Mixed
in the
Wireless LAN > General
screen.
Green AP
Select
Enable
to reduce the power consumption by adjusting the output power. The LTE2566-
M634 reduces the output power of the transmitter from about 260mA to 188mA when there is
no IEEE 802.11 wireless clients associated with the LTE2566-M634 wireless network.
Tx Power
Set the output power of the LTE2566-M634 in this field. If there is a high density of APs in an
area, decrease the output power of the LTE2566-M634 to reduce interference with other APs.
Select one of the following
100%
,
90%
,
75%
,
50%
,
25%
or
10%
.
Beacon Interval
When a wirelessly networked device sends a beacon, it includes with it a beacon interval. This
specifies the time period before the device sends the beacon again. The interval tells
receiving devices on the network how long they can wait in low-power mode before waking
up to handle the beacon. A high value helps save current consumption of the access point.
