The following table describes the fields in this screen. 

Table 24-7 Remote Node Network Layer Options Menu Fields

dynamically (automatically) send its IP address if you do not know it. Enter 
the remote gateway’s IP address here if you know it (static).

dynamically send its subnet mask if you do not know it. Enter the remote
