IPv6 Address

If you selected

Link Local Address Type

 field, enter the LAN IPv6 

address you want to assign to your AMG1302/AMG1202-TSeries in hexadecimal 
notation, for example, fe80::1 (factory default).

Prefix

Enter the address prefix to specify how many most significant bits in an IPv6 address 
compose the network address.

MLD Snooping

Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) allows an IPv6 switch or router to discover the 
presence of MLD hosts who wish to receive multicast packets and the IP addresses of 
multicast groups the hosts want to join on its network. Select 

Enabled

 to activate 

MLD Snooping on the AMG1302/AMG1202-TSeries. This allows the AMG1302/
AMG1202-TSeries to check MLD packets passing through it and learn the multicast 
group membership. It helps reduce multicast traffic.
