Fitting the pedals
A T T E N T I O N
Irreparable damage to the threads by attempting to screw in the
wrong pedal.

Make sure that the thread of the pedal marked R is
screwed into the right-hand crank in the direction of
travel.

Make sure that the thread of the pedal marked L is
screwed into the left-hand crank in the direction of
travel.
The pedals have different threads. That is
why the pedals are marked L and R. The pe-
dal marked L must be fitted to the crank on
the left-hand side of the bike in the direc-
tion of travel. The pedal marked R must be
fitted to the crank on the right-hand side of
the bike in the direction of travel.
Proceed as follows to fit the right-hand pedal on the
bike:

Screw the stud of the pedal marked
R
into the
threaded bore in the right-hand pedal arm
in
clockwise direction
.

Tighten the pedal
in clockwise direction
using
the wrench supplied.
Proceed as follows to fit the left-hand pedal on the bike:

Screw the stud of the pedal marked
L
into the threaded
bore in the
left-hand crank
in anti-clockwise direction
.
-
Tighten the pedal
in anti-clockwise direction
using the
wrench supplied.
