Lift your finger at the end of the word. A space is added automatically when you begin to trace
the next word.
Google Voice Typing
Google Voice typing uses Google voice recognition service to convert speech to text. You must have
a data connection on a mobile or Wi-Fi network to use it.
To use Google Voice Typing:
1. Flick down the status bar when entering text and touch
Choose input method
, and then select
Google voice typing
.

Touch
to access the voice typing when you are using the Android Keyboard.
2. When you see the microphone image, speak what you want to type.
3. Text that you enter by speaking is underlined. You can continue entering text to keep it, or delete
it.
Tip:
Say “comma,” “period,” “question mark,” “exclamation mark,” or “exclamation point” to enter
punctuation.
Tips for Editing Text
Your phone gives you many options to make entering text easier, including copying, cutting, and
pasting text, using voice-to-text input, customizing the user dictionary, using predictive text, and
more.

To move the insertion point, touch where you want to type. The cursor blinks in the new position,
and a tab appears below it. Then drag the tab to move the cursor.

To select text when editing, touch and hold or double-tap the text, so that the text selection tabs
appear. Then drag the tabs to change the text in between. To cancel the selection, simply touch
unselected text.

To cut or copy text, select the text you want to manipulate. Then touch
(cut) or
(copy), or in
landscape mode touch

To paste text from the clip board, do one of the following:

Move the cursor to the insertion point and hold the tab below it. Then release your finger and
