The text messaging (SMS) and multimedia messaging (MMS) are available in

Messages

From

Messages

, you can send or receive an SMS or MMS. When you

receive a new message, you can open it from the Notification Panel, or from
the Messages Screen. Simply tap on the new message to read it.

When a message is received, this icon

appears in the status bar.

Sending a Text Message

field and enter the recipient‟s name or number. As you type,

matching contacts will appear. Tap a suggested contact to add as a
recipient.
