Switching to Silent Mode

1. In the sound

settings, tick the

Silent mode

check box.

2. You can also switch to

Silent mode

by holding the

Volume Key (down)

– if the screen is locked – by dragging the

icon to the left, as

shown below.

By default, vibration is enabled in silent mode, and the icon

appears in

the status bar. If vibration is disabled, the silent icon

will appear in the

status bar.

Set a vibration mode.

: Your phone vibrates for all notifications and alerts.

Never

: Your phone only sounds for all notifications and alerts.
