The usual order of operation for the stroke input mode is as follows:
Enter the strokes:
press the corresponding
number keys
following the standard stroke order for Chinese
characters and the mobile phone will display the corresponding Chinese characters; you can enter Chinese
character radicals using the Stroke input mode; you must use the
left soft key
to select a radical; the
Right
sofe key
can delete the last stroke entered.
Select and enter a character
:
The
up/down navigation keys
can be used to flip through the candidate area,
the
left/right navigation keys
to select a desired Chinese character in the candidate area, and the
left soft key
to enter the character.
Enter associated characters
: The
up/down navigation keys
can be used to flip through the candidate area,
the
left/right navigation keys
to select a desired Chinese character in the candidate area.
Enter Chinese symbol
: press the
* key
to bring up the input box for Chinese symbols, the
navigation keys
to
select the desired Chinese symbol and the
left soft key
or
function key
to enter the selected symbol.
Edit inputted text
: use the
right/left navigation keys
to move the cursor left and right, the
up/down
navigation keys
to
move the cursor up and down, the
Right soft key
to delete characters.
