4.7.2.6 Message Settings
You must make necessary settings before you use MMS functions.
Access the “Settings” submenu by pressing “
Ok
”, you can select the following options:
Compose Setting:
you can set “
Creation Mode
”, “
Image Resizing
“
and
“
Auto Signature
”
.
Send Setting:
to set the related values as follows:
¾
Validity period
: the valid period of MMS. By the
left/right key
you can choose the valid period
among
maximum, one hour
,
twelve hours
,
one day
, and
one week
. The maximum period
depends on the network operator
¾
Delivery report:
to reflect if the msm reaches the receiver successfully. You can turn
on/off
to
carry out the operation.
¾
Read report:
to reflect if the msm is read by the receiver. You can turn
on/off
to carry out the
operation.
¾
Priority: t
o set the level of priority for the msg including
normal,
high
and
low.
¾
Slide Timing:
to certain the time for the displaying of each MMS slide.
¾
Delivery time:
the intervening time between the sending MMS and the resending MMS. You can
choose among “
Immediate
”, “
In one hour
”, “
In 12 hours
” or “
In 24 hours
”.
Receive Setting:
the values of setting are as follows:
¾
Home network
:
to set the level of priority for downloading MMS. If you choose “
Immediate
”, the
MMS will reach immediately; choose “
Rejected
”, the MMS is rejected by the handset.
¾
Roaming:
to set the level of priority under roaming situation. You can choose among “
As Home
”,
“
Delayed
” or “
Rejected
”.
