4.7.1.5 Message
Settings
You must make necessary settings before you use SMS and MMS functions.
Accessing the “Settings” submenu, you can select the following options:
Profile Setting:
Please contact your network operator to get a message service center number. Acessing
this submenu, you can see the
profile setting list
.By pressing
left soft key “Edit”,
you can
carry out the following operations:to set profile name;o set SC Adress;to set
valid period
;to set
Message type
.In the
valid period
,SC will send a SMS repeatly until it has been received.
Valid period is suitable for all the sent messages. You can press right and left key to set the
valid period for: one hour, six hour, twelve hour, one day, three day, one week, maximum.
There are serveral message types for your choice: Text,Fax,Page, and E-mail.
Note: the valid period and the realizing of the message types need the support of network operator.
Common Setting:
to operate the
Delivery Report.
This function is on if you press the
Left Soft Key
. On
the contrary, the function will not work if you press the key again. When the
Delivery Report
works, you can
check conveniently if the receiver receives the msg or not by viewing the
Delivery Report
incase your msg is
fail to reach for some reason.
Note:
the realizing of the function needs the support of network operator.
Memory Status:
Here you can view the total memory capacity and occupied memory space of messages
on both the mobile phone and the SIM card. You can save up to 200 messages to your mobile phone (including
