(2) Extend counterweight cylinders down using Switch 3 on dash. Make sure cylinder
end nest into the pockets on the top of the counterweight plate.
(3) Rotate the superstructure counterclockwise until cylinders engage the catch for
them on the top of the counterweight plate (Point B in Figure 07
–
58).
Do not over rotate the superstructure as this can cause the lift cylinders to be
damaged.
(4) Lift counterweight by using Switch 3 on the dash until the holes in the
counterweight plate line up with the holes in the superstructure.
Use Switch 3 in Figure 07
–
59 unless the counterweight gets skewed left or
right. Then use Switch 1 and Switch 2 in Figure 07
–
59 to level off
counterweight.

C. Disassembly
For disassembly, perform Assembly procedure in reverse order.
When lowering counterweight onto chassis front, ensure holes in underside of
counterweight line up and nest into the counterweight holder pins on the front of the
chassis.
