SAFETY RULES
3.1.
Generalities
The use of machine is allowed only to one operator.
It is absolutely forbidden to remove or change any safety catches.
Any monoeuvrings and the use of machine are only allowed to personnel in charge who
should have read and assimilated the contents of this handbook.
Before using the machine, please check the intactness and the faultless working of
safety devices.
Do not expose the machine to any performance higher than what prescribed.
It is compulsory to wear suitable clothes according to what provided for in this handbook
and by the laws in force in the country of machine use. Please avoid wearing large and
fluttering clothes, belts, rings, chains and nothing other that can be caught or hamper
the free manoeuvre in perfect visibility.
Make sure that the work place is clean and tidy and that the way to pass through is
strong enough and suitable for the passage.
Learn where and how it is the use of machine: carrying capacity of grounds and of
stairs, weight and sizes of loads to be lifted, difficulty in movements due to spaces,
doors and so on.
It is absolutely forbidden to operate on the machine with unfixed safety catches or with
cut-out safety devices.
After having performed an operation of adjustment or of maintenance with reduced
safety catches, it needs to reset the machine with all active safety catches.
A strict adherence to scheduled maintenances shown in this handbook is necessary to
operate safely and to maintain the machine efficient as well.
According to the weight of the carryed loads and of frequency of handling and transport
of loads, please check if the operator needs to be submitted to sanitary checks.
Please remember that a prudent and careful operator with good menthal and phisical
conditions is a very important safety against any injuries.
When the machine is used, all the rules in force in the country of machine use
concerning safety and workers security have to be observed.
