6.2.5. PELLET BURNER FROM SERIES ”GP XX SC” OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS
FOR ADJUSTMENT.
The parameters defining the operation mode and the heating output of the system are
presented in the installation, operation and maintenance manual of the wood pellet burner
from series “GP xx sc”. The function and the adjustment of these parameters must be
explained to the end user, in order to provide him/her opportunity for flexible and optimal
usage of the appliances.
The heating output levels and the method for adjustment are explained in the pellet burner
from series “GP xx sc” manual book.
The change in the operating parameters of the pellet burner should
be implemented only by a trained service technician.
In the manual book of the automated pellet burner are presented all
parameters required for adjustment of its operation – parameter changes
must be performed by an authorized and trained servicing technician.
The heating output adjustment of the system – a hot water pellet boiler from
series “Pelletherm V.4 LT” and a pellet burner from series “GP xx sc”, must
be performed through primary set up of the pellet burner operation
parameters – to be performed by a servicing technician.
Non-operational situations might occur during burner operation, for example: unsuccessful
attempt for
ignition , the fuel in the hopper has been depleted and others, as the burner will
indicate them on its display panel. To restart the burner operation switch OFF and then back
ON the button “POWER”, but only after the failure reason has been eliminated.
The ash content does not change significantly the fuel’s calorific value, but requires special
construction of the burner in order to achieve efficient and economic burning process.
Therefore the applicability and efficiency of a certain fuel have to be tested and after positive
results it should be utilized by the burner.
The manufacture company reserves its rights to change the settings of the
automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc”, without obligation to inform its
end users.
6.2.6. NOMINAL OPERATION MODE OF THE SYSTEM.
After completing the starting procedure of the automated pellet burner from series “GP xx sc”
(the pellets are successfully ignited) and the hot water boiler from series “Pelletherm V.4 LT”
has heated the circulations water in the installation, and the installation has been tempered, it
can be accepted that the system is in nominal operation mode. Final adjustments of the
system modules can be performed during this operation mode.
In nominal heating output mode the so called “hot test” of the appliance and the heating
installation can be performed, according to the acting regulations and provisions.
In nominal operation mode of the system it is required to observe the following requirements:
In case a circulations pump is used to transfer the heat energy from the hot water
pellet boiler to the heating installation it is not recommended the return (“cold”) water
temperature to be below 60
o
C, because there is a risk of local (in the boiler’s heat-
exchanger) cooling of the flue gasses and condensation of water vapors, which are
final product from the fuel burning;
