9 . The tool will need to process over the center of the target first and when it returns to the point
with the strongest signal, the Target icon will display . If the Sound is on, the tool will also
beep intermittently when you are over the center of the target .
10 . When the center of a target has been identified, you can mark the target using the integrated
marking system by pushing down on the unit . To activate the marker when using the pivoting
handle attachment, firmly push down on the handle, holding the tool with your other hand if
needed . When using the optional pole extension, grip the pole with both hands as if holding a
paint roller and press firmly against the scanned surface .
8. rEpLaCEMENT parTS
An extra set of three glider pads (the smooth feet on the underside of the tool) and a marker stamp
are also included with your tool .
To replace the glider pads after they have worn, slide the tip of a flathead screwdriver into the
notch of the glider pad location and gently lift upwards . This should release the existing glider pad
from the base of the unit . Gently remove any existing residue . Remove the backing from the new
glider pad and securely adhere into place .
To replace the marker stamp once it is out of ink, twist the cap counter-clockwise and lift up .
Insert the new marker stamp and twist clockwise until secured into place .
