Unpacking the machine
Open the box and remove the accessories, the parallel fence (2), the angled
fence and the machine. Place the machine on a firm surface or work bench.
Check the machine for any damages and the check the accessories to ensure that
they are all there.

Before starting up
- The machine must be set up in such a way that it is secure, thus, if possi-
ble on a workbench or screwfastened to a solid base.
- All covers and safety equipment must be correctly fitted before starting up.
- The saw blade must be able to run freely.
- If wood has already been worked on, look out for foreign bodies such as
nails or screws, cracks or joints.
- Before operating the on/off switch make sure that the saw blade is correct-
ly fitted and that moving parts can move easily.
- Before plugging in the machine make sure that the data on the rating plate
match those for the mains supply.
- Before operating the on/off switch make sure that spanners and adjusting
tools have been removed.
Fitting saw plate extensions (Fig. 3 + 4)
Remove the screw on the end of slide bar, plug the slide bar into the hole under
the table and re-fix the screw on the end of the slide bar, you can move the slide
bar as your cutting requirement, then fasten the screw under the table to lock.
Move the left table from front to back after.
Fitting the saw bench (Fig. 5)
Put the saw bench, made up of ten individual components, together in accor-
dance with Figure 4. The short struts pointing up, the long ones in the middle.
Screw the saw housing from below through the saw bench using the hexagonal
socket screws in accordance with Figure 6.
The rubber feet act both as washers and shocks at the same time.
When using the saw without the bench, the rubber feet act as feet and shocks
at the same time (Figure 7).
