Read These Warnings First
• Please read all Precautions, Installation Requirements, Installation Instructions before
installing any Zip ChillTap.
• Never attempt to install any Zip ChillTap without reading all of the applicable instructions.
• Installation must comply with current IEE regulations and any Local Authority requirements.
• The plumbing installation must be done in accordance with local Water Authority regulations
and these Installation Instructions.
• As the installer, it is your responsibility to supply (if necessary) and install all valves as
required by local regulations and relevant standards.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
This appliance must be earthed.
• If the power supply cable is damaged it must be replaced by a Zip Service Engineer or a
qualified electrician.
• The cross sectional area of the power supply cable must be appropriate for the power
rating and location of the appliance.
• The power supply cable must be adequately secured.
• Do not remove the cover of the appliance under any circumstances without first isolating
the appliance from the power supply.
• Take care when lifting the Zip ChillTap unit. Some units may exceed safe lifting limits. If
you feel this is beyond your personal capabilities, please seek assistance with the lift. The
weights of the units are specified in product specification below. Do not lift the unit by the
front cover.
• This unit is designed for indoor use and must not be installed outdoors or exposed to the
elements of nature.
• This unit must not be positioned in an area that may be cleaned by a water jet.
• This unit must not be cleaned by a water jet.
Refrigerant
• The Zip ChillTap Chilling unit contains R134A refrigerant under pressure. No part of the unit
should be exposed to a naked flame. Maintenance of the refrigeration unit must be carried
out by an accredited service provider or qualified refrigeration mechanic.
• As with all refiridgeration units this appliance must be kept upright even during installation.
