Making RS485 communication via network cable: 

1.

 

The pin assignment for the network cable is according to the EIA/TIA 568A 
standard as follows. The network cable must be UV resistant if it is to be used 
outdoors. 

 

2.

 

Connect the inverter to PMU or other communication device via the above- 
mentioned network cable. 

3.

 

Make sure the cable gland is mounted properly. The cable gland must be 
adequately locked to prevent any movement of the cable. 

4.

 

When the PMU or other communication device is connected to a PC or mobile 
client via Ethernet, the continuous monitoring of system data can be achieved. 

 

6.2 Updating the firmware via USB 

The internal controller’s firmware can be updated via USB by qualified service 
personnel.
