For service requests, updates and trouble shooting please contact your Zeutschel dealer.
To handle a service case with the best efficiency, the following data should be provided
together with your service request:
•
Exact device type
i. e. OK300 Hybrid color
•
Serial number of base, scan head and book cradle
•
Information about used
accessories
, i. e. OT90 Kit etc.
•
Exact description of the error
and, if possible a classification of the error
(Hardware-/Software-Error), strange behaviour of the device like unusual noises,
flickering of lights, PC crashes etc.
•
Description,
how often the error occurs
, i.e. 3 times a day, 2 of 100 scans, once
after power on...
•
Description,
since when
the error is present, i. e. suddenly, since a certain
modification, software update etc.
•
Sample scans
:
1x full size image
, largest possible scan format, 200-300 dpi JPEG compressed as

of the device since the installation, i. e. 3 months with 8
hours of work each day or 2000 hours of operation.

Information about former repairs of the devices, i. e. exchange of the drive motor
three weeks ago.
•
Other information, which could be relevant for a trouble-shooting like external light
sources, temperature behaviour etc.
Please be aware
:
the more and better details you provide about your problem, the more effective the
trouble shooting will be. This helps you and the technical support people to solve the
problem fast and with low costs.
