A. Steering Lock
Using the steering lock when parked will prevent
unauthorized use and help prevent theft.
To Lock:
1. Turn the handlebar all the way to the left.
2. Push the key down from the OFF position and
turn the key counter-clockwise while still pushing
it in.
3. Remove the key.
To Unlock:
1. Install the key and turn clockwise.
2. Remove the key.
The key should be removed from the motorcycle
when parked to prevent theft. The key can be
removed in either the OFF or steering lock position.
B. OFF
This position is used to turn the motorcycle OFF,
disabling the electrical system.
C. ON
This position is used for operating the motorcycle. In
this position the following will occur:
•
Lights turn ON
•
Instrument Panel display turns ON
