PREPARING THE ERNIE BALL VP JR

1. JACK MODULE: With your #2 Philips screwdriver, remove the two jack module screws from the

bottom of the VP Jr (127). Now, use your flush cutters to snip off the wires on the potentiometer
(128). Hang on to the screws; we will use them to install the VPM-1 main board module.

2. POTENTIOMETER BLOCK:

a. Using your #2 Philips screwdriver, remove the two screws that hold in the potentiometer

block (130). Note these screws are longer than the screws that came from the jack module.

b. Now unwind the string from the pulley to get the block out (131).
