Preparing the Appliance for Use
After switch-on, you will hear a single beep and all indicators
will light for about 1 second. This means that the appliance is
in a standby mode.
Touch Panel
All buttons are touch-sensitive. No force is required to
●
operate the panel.
When touching the buttons, use the entire surface of
●
fi
nger ends, not just the tips.
A single sound will be heard each time a button is
●
pressed successfully.
Before use, make sure that the touch panel is dry, clean
●
and accessible (i.e. not obstructed by cutlery, napkins
etc). Even a thin layer of water may prevent operation
of the panel.
Selection of cookware
The induction hob detects if the pot put on the heating zone
is suitable for induction cooking.
In order to make sure that a given pan is suitable for induction
cooking you can use a magnet. If the magnet holds to the
pan base, the pan can be used for induction cooking. If you
do not have a magnet:
1
Pour some water into the vessel that you want to check.
2
Follow the instructions contained in the Operating the
Hob – ‘START OF COOKING’ section.
3
If the symbol „ ” does not appear on the display and
water starts to boil, this means that the vessel is suitable for
induction cooking.
Never use vessels with sharp edges. The base
of the vessel must be
fl
at, and its diameter at
least equal to the diameter of the cooking zone
on which it is to be used.
When putting or moving vessels around the
hob, make sure that you pick them up and
not slide them, as this may scratch the glass
surface of the hob.
