Operation and functioning of the sandwich
maker
BEFORE FIRST USE OF SANDWICH MAKER:
Remove from the pack.
●
Check whether the voltage indicated on the device
●
corresponds to the voltage on the power supply network.
Clean the device, wiping its external and internal surfaces
●
with a damp cloth or paper towel.
When you turn on and use the grill for the first
time, as far as heating up the heating elements
may be a slight "smell of burning". This is
not a threat or evidence of malfunction of the
product. The smell should disappear after
several use.
Turn it on for about 15 minutes to remove any leavings
●
from the manufacturing process. Then turn off the
sandwich maker and allow to cool completely.
DURING FURTHER USE OF SANDWICH MAKER:
Put it on a dry, flat surface near an AC outlet.
●
Insert the plug into an AC outlet (the two indicator lights -
●
orange and green - will turn on).
Wait until the green light goes out (it takes about 3-4
●
minutes), which means that the heating plates have
reached the temperature that allows for roasting.
Since then, the green indicator light will turn on and off
●
- this means that sandwich maker maintains a proper
temperature of grill cooking.
SANDWICH PREPARATION:
Open the sandwich maker.
●
Place a slice of toasted bread, with a thickness of about
●
1 cm, buttered side or another fat, on the bottom plate of
sandwich maker.
Apply the add-ons onto a lying piece.
●
Cover the add-ons with another slice of bread, buttered
●
side up, then carefully close the sandwich maker. If
you have difficulty closing the sandwich maker, remove
excess of fillings.
Sandwich maker cannot be closed
with difficulty, as this may damage it.
After a few minutes (baking time depends on the type of
●
recipe you apply to prepare sandwiches and the user's
preferences), open the sandwich maker and carefully
remove the toasted sandwich.
When eating sandwiches immediately after
cooking, be careful not to get burnt, as
sandwiches, filling or add-ons may be hot.
Cleaning and maintenance of sandwich maker
Sandwich maker does not require special maintenance.
●
Keep and store the sandwich maker clean, as it has
●
contact with food.
Before cleaning the sandwich maker, remove the plug
●
from the socket and wait for completely cool down of the
device.
First, wipe the sandwich maker with a soft damp cloth,
●
then wipe it dry with a soft, clean cloth.
Do not use cleaners that may scratch or damage external
●
surfaces and a protective layer of the heating plates.
After each use of sandwich maker, remove from heating
●
plates the accumulated crumbs and leftovers, and with
a paper towel, wipe the surface of grill inserts to absorb
and collect the fat accumulated during cooking.
