Auxiliary Relay Connections
The auxiliar y relay contacts are rated for 30volts @ 5amps,
A.C. or D.C., and can be used to switch on and off anything
you can think of within those limits.
Each relay has a Normally Open connection, two Common
connections, and a Normally Closed connection.
The diagram to the left demonstrates the internal connec-
tions to the relays.
By using the supplied adapter, the relays connections can
be made before rack mounting the HDVI5.
Auxiliary Relay Operation
The A and A2 buttons are used to toggle on and off the
relays.
The relays can also be setup to turn off after a given
amount of time. Or to turn on whenever specified channels
are selected. See the section
"Auxiliar y Relay Options"
for
relay setup information.
Using the supplied Remote Control
Use the section of the remote controlled labeled: HDVI5/
HDMI5 for controlling the HDVI5. ( The other sections are
used to control other Zektor products).
Each button on the remote functions the same as the front
panel switch with the same name.

Using the supplied Remote Control
Use the remote controller buttons in the section
labeled: HDVI5 / HDMI5. (The other sections control
other Zektor products)
Each button on the remote corresponds to the
same button on the HDVI5's front panel.

N/O = Normally Open Contacts. These contacts
are open when the relay's LED is not lit.
COM = Common
N/C = Normally Closed Contacts. These contacts
are closed when the relay's LED is not lit.
Make connections to the adapter which plugs into the HDVI5.
