The user instructions for the microscope that is used, together with those for the
microscope stage, must be complied with.
If the ZPiezo WSB 500 stage attatchment (432339-9000-000) is used, compliance with
the maximum load limit of 2 kg is mandatory. Otherwise the stage attatchment may not
operate correctly and may be damaged beyond repair.
Do not touch the contacts of the Z-stage socket (Fig. 3/
2
). A voltage of 130 V /42 kHz
may be present there.
Switching off at the ON/Off switch (Fig. 2/
1
) only switches off the internal controller. The
mains power supply to the table-top power supply unit is not switched off.
If the WSB ZPiezo CAN is not going to be used for some time, withdraw the mains plug
of the table-top power supply unit from the socket.
The devices are not provided with any particular protection against corrosive, potentially
infectious, toxic or radioactive samples, or against any other samples that may be
hazardous to health. All statutory requirements, in particular the national regulations for
accident prevention, must be complied with when handling such samples.
For transport over fairly long distances the device must be partially dismounted and
packaged in the original packaging.
Do not dispose of defective devices in domestic rubbish; they must be disposed of in
accordance with the statutory regulations.
Samples must also be correctly disposed of in accordance with the applicable statutory
regulations and internal working procedures.
