4.4 Connecting the Microscope to the Power Supply
4.4.1 Connecting the Microscope to the Mains Power Supply
All microscopes equipped with Fixed-Köhler stands or Full-Köhler stands can be connected directly
to the mains power supply.
Prerequisite
ü
The microscope is installed completely with all components to be used.
Procedure
1. Plug the power cable

into the mains socket

of the microscope.

2. Make sure the
DC 5V
switch

is in the
OUT
position.

The
DC 5V
switch is only available on Fixed-Köhler stands.
3. Plug the other end

of the power cable into the mains power supply

4.4.2 Connecting the Microscope to the Battery Supply Unit
All microscopes equipped with Fixed-Köhler stands can be connected directly to the mains power
supply.
Prerequisite

The microscope is installed completely with all components to be used.
ü
Rechargeable batteries are inserted in the battery supply unit.
ü
The batteries are charged.
Procedure
1. Plug the connector

of the battery supply unit into the connection port

stand.
