The instrument may only be operated by trained personnel who must be aware of the possible
dangers inherent in the operation of the MCU 2008. The MCU 2008 combined with the DC
scanning stage is a high-precision instrument, which can be impaired in its performance or
damaged when handled improperly.
Don't reach into the possible range of travel of the motorized DC stage.
There is a crush hazard and hands may be injured when positioning the stage by means of the
MCU 2008 controller.
The MCU 2008 can be used for voltages ranging from 100 to 240 V
±
10 %, 50 to 60 Hz,
without any necessity of additional change of instrument voltage setting.
