Basic Operation
Recovering a Lost Password
The ZyPerMX does not provide any built-in safeguards for lost or forgotten passwords.
The ZyPerMX must be reset to factory-default settings using the reset button on the rear
panel. Use the
admin
passowrd to login and then change the password under the Device
tab.
1. Locate the reset EXWWRQRQWKHUHDUSDQHORIWKHXQLWQH[WWRWKH32:(5UHFHSWDFOH
The button is recessed to prevent the unit from being accidentally reset.
2. Press and hold the reset button, using the end of a paperclip or other pointed object.
Wait approximately 5-10 seconds, then release the button.
3. After about 60 seconds, the unit will be ready for use.
4. Follow the steps under 6HWWLQJWKH3DVVZRUGSDJH 22 to complete the process.
