Door reversal

Before starting work, unplug the appliance. To
reverse the opening direction of the door
proceed as follows:
remove the lower hinge (3), pin (1) and foot (2);
unscrew the front left foot and screw it back in
on the opposite side;
remove the two screws which mask the holes
for fixing the hinge from the front left hand side;
slide out the door from pin (D), unscrew the
latter and then screw it down into the hinge
provided on the opposite side; remove the two
plugs, to reveal the holes for the hinge pivots,
and remount them on the other side;
reassemble the door;
refit the lower hinge (turning it through 180°),
the threaded insert, the pin and the foot on the
opposite side, as shown in the figure.
Unscrew the handle and refit it on the opposite
side.

Attention

After completion of the door reversibility
operation, verify that the door gasket is
adherent to the cabinet.
If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in
Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the
cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural fitting
of the gasket or accelerate this process by
heating up the part involved with a normal
hairdrier.

Inner door reversal

Using a screwdriver release bracket (1) by
pressing on the internal spring (Fig. 6) and
withdraw it from its seat together with the door;
remove plug (2) and fit it in the hole left open on
the opposite side;
turn the door through 180°, remove the bracket
(1) and refit it on the opposite side.
Refit the door and insert the top pin and bottom
bracket (1), pushing it into place.
To ensure correct storage of food, the door is
fitted with a simple spring device which holds it
in the open position until it is properly closed.
