SUMMARY OF OPTIONS 

 
This section lists the different options that are available in the various menus.

The System Setup Tab

Sets the IP address of the Z3-DM8107-SDI-RPS.  
Note that a “save” of these settings and a reboot 
is needed for changes to this value to take 
effect. 

Local Netmask

Sets the netmask of the Z3-DM8107-SDI-RPS.  
Note that a “save” of these settings and a reboot 
is needed for changes to this value to take 
effect. 

Default Gateway

Sets the network gateway to use for the Z3-
DM8107-SDI-RPS.  Note that a “save” of these 
settings and a reboot is needed for changes to 
this value to take effect. 

Set Device Name 

 

Can use to set the name for Z3-DM8107-SDI-RPS. 

Set Password 

 

Can use to assign a password.  See “USING THE 
PASSWORD FEATURE” on page 49.

download device logs 

Clicking this causes the Z3-DM8107-SDI-RPS to 
extract a set of diagnostic logs that can be sent 
to Z3 Technology in the event of an issue to be 
reported.  This file is saved on the PC which the 
GUI is being run from. 

Display Mode 

(Decode Only)

Used to set whether output is on SDI, HDMI, or 
both.  Note that if the display resolution is 
“NTSC” or “PAL”, the display mode must be set
