User Management
The FSDI-1XA provides support for up to 16 separate users. There are 8 user access levels available on
the system.
1. SuperAmin - All operations allowed restricted to default admin user.
2. Admin - All management operations allowed with some manufacturer restrictions.
3. Operator 1 - Read sensitive data and control system (Start/Stop encode and Control PTZ).
4. Operator 2 - Currently identical permissions as Operator 1.
5. User 1 - Read non-sensitive data (View streams and settings).
6. User 2 - Currently identical permissions as User 1.
7. User 3 -
Currently identical permissions as User 1.
8. Anonymous - See limited system information before authentication.
The system is shipped with only the admin user. To add additional users complete the following:
(1) Navigate to web interface login as an admin user and navigate to the User tab.
(2) Click on the Add User button. You will be prompted for the Username, User Group, and Password.
Weak passwords will not be accepted.
(3) Once this information is entered click the Add button.
(4) The new user will appear in the User table.
