Set up a Video Encoder IP Output
7.1
Select a video encoder with RTSP or TSRTP output over IP.

-Connect a 1080i video source.
-Configure the encoder to output RTSP or TSRTP over IP.
-View the encoded video on your PC to confirm encoder setup.
Configure Decode of RTSP Stream

Return to the DMD-10J user interface and, if necessary, click the “Stop” button in the “Channel

Controls” section of the CH1 tab to stop any current decoding.
Set “Input Interface” to “RTSP” to match the output format of your video encoder.

Enter the IP address of the encoder followed by “/z3-1.sdp” for “Server IP”. In the pictured

example, “10.1.10.237/z3-1.sdp” is used.
Click the “Start” button. After 5-10 seconds, decoded content will appear on the TV or monitor.

If your encoder is outputting to a multicast address, check the box next to “Is Multicast” and ender

the multicast address in the text box that appears.
Enter the Port number to match the port used for your encoder stream.
