Configuration and Firmware Update via CAN 

 

and Z21 Maintenance Tool

If the Z21 boosters are connected to the Z21 via CAN, then they automatically appear in the
Z21 Maintenance Tool (from V1.14, take the opportunity to also update the Z21 firmware)
one below the other in the "CAN" tab..

A panel appears for each Z21 Booster output with the current voltage and current consumption of the 

respective track output. By clicking on the field, you can conveniently activate or deactivate the corres

-

ponding booster output from the PC for the aim of troubleshooting (booster management).

The icons below the panel show the status of the respective track output:

From left to right: "track output off", "short circuit detected", "RailCom active" (i.e., the RailCom cutout is 
created in the track signal).

The "Setup..." button takes you to the configuration dialog of the booster, in which the settings can be 
changed, and the firmware update can be carried out.
