A. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Explanation of Symbols, Inscriptions
This symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. electric shock.
The exclamation mark indicates specific risks associated with handling,
function and use.
The “Hand” symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Never cover the product. There is a risk of fire!
The product is only intended to be placed and used in dry and enclosed
indoor rooms; it must not get damp or wet.
The device is designed according to safety class I. It may only be connected to and used
through an earthed mains socket.
Do not use the heater in connection with an additional timer, a remote switching device (e.g.
remote-controlled power socket) or similar devices, which automatically switch on the heater.
Never connect the heater to an extension cord or a dimmer or something similar.
Plug it directly into an earthed wall power outlet.
The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Be especially careful
if children are around. Children cannot see the danger arising from incorrect use of electrical
devices. Children might try to push objects through the product opening, for example. There
is a risk of electric shock!
Furthermore, there is a high risk of personal injury or burns from the hot from side or
radiation heat!
Install the product so that it cannot be reached by children.
Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around since this may become a
dangerous toy for children.
The infrared radiation outlet grid becomes very hot when heated, risk of burns!
Never operate the heater unsupervised.
