Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops,
even from a low height.
Never plug in or unplug the plugin power unit with damp or wet hands. There is a risk of a
life-threatening electric shock!
The product may only be used in dry, closed interior areas, it must not get damp or wet!
Never set up the product in the direct vicinity of a bathroom, a shower or a bathing tub or
similar! There is a danger to life through an electric shock!
Never pour any liquids on or next to the product. It can cause fire or perilous electric shock
danger. If liquids get into the device, immediately isolate the main socket (fuse/circuit
breaker/earth leakage circuit breaker), then separate the mains plug from the mains socket
and consult an expert.
Do not operate the device anymore.
Always leave sufficient space (at least 1.5 m) from combustible or flammable materials or
objects (curtains, doors, furniture etc.). If the distance is too small, there is a risk of fire.
Never operate the heater inside cabinets or other small enclosed rooms. Fire hazard!
Do not point the front with the radiating infrared heat towards sensitive/quality surfaces
(i.e. furniture), as this may result in discolouration.
Never cover the heater, do not put clothing items or other objects on top of the heater. Fire
hazard!
Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust, flammable
gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Choose an appropriate mounting place. It must be fixed, big enough, level, stable and far
away enough from inflammable materials and items (i.e. curtains, furniture doors, etc.).
Maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 m.
The heater must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight or strong
vibrations.
• Never connect the device to the power supply immediately after it has been
transferred from a cold room into a warm one. The condensation that develops in
such cases could damage the device or cause an electric shock! Allow the heater to
reach room temperature. Wait until the condensation has evaporated. This might take
several hours. Only after this should the heater be plugged in to the power supply and
put into use.
• When using the heater for the first time, hot parts of the case may cause an irritating
odour for a while. If you experience this, ventilate the room where the heater is set up.
• Do not use the product when it is damaged.
