Attaching the Crib Base Rail
Step 2:
Insert the Barrel Nuts into the holes on the inside of the Base Rail (
make sure the
slotted end of the Barrel Nut is visible
) using a Flathead Screwdriver align the slot
in the Barrel Nut with the hole for the connector bolt. See Figure 4.
Align the holes in the Base Rail with the holes in the Crib Ends and insert (4)
3 1/2”
connector bolts from the outside of the Crib Ends. Make sure the Brackets attached
to the Base Rail are facing the inside of the Crib. See Figure 4b.
Do not completely tighten the connector bolts at this time.

Install (3) Locater Pins.
Locate the threaded insert in
the top edge of the Base Rail
and insert a Locater Pin.
Tighten by hand. See Fig. 5.
Locate the upper threaded in-
sert in each of the Crib Ends
and insert a Locater Pin. See
Fig. 6. (Make sure to insert
the Locater Pins on the same
side of the Crib Ends as the
attached Base Rail.)
