air cooled chiller uses the best of modern screw compressor design
and manufacturing techniques and combines them with the latest in a long line of chiller variable
speed drives. The result is superior control and industry leading efficiency at real world conditions.
In addition, by slowing the speed of the chiller to match system requirements at off-design condi-
tions, the chiller sound output is reduced when it is the most sensitive to neighbors – evenings and
weekends.
With the introduction of the YCIV model air cooled chiller, system designers are given the Latitude™to
design around the traditional benefits of air cooled chillers and still offer building owners energy ef -
ficient system design. In the past, the choice to use an air cooled chiller came with the expectation
