A5. Software Setting Function

(of Communication Parameters, etc.)

You can set the data format and transmission speed using the rotary switch (SW1) or the

DIP switch (SW2) on the right side of the module. Alternatively, you can also perform

software setting from a program in the FA-M3 CPU module.

Setting communications parameters using the switches on F3LC12-1F will assign the

same setting values to port 1 and port 2. However, by using the software setting

function, different communications parameters can be set for each port.
